Day 6 - Moonsnail Soapworks

Moonsnail Soapworks has always been one of my favourite shops in Charlottetown. It's a little hidden gem located on 85 Water Street. Visiting Moonsnail is such an experience, when you walk in the door you are greeted with the aroma of freshly made soap. Inside the door are cozy meditation pillows, hand carved and stone buddha statues, Himalayan Rock salt and selenite lamps, artwork, candles, and gemstones of all varieties - very calming, peaceful items. All of my favourite things.  

At the back of the store you'll find their hand made body scrubs, soaps and lotions. You can even try out their testers as there is a little sink and plush towels. I always treat myself to an invigorating hand scrub experience when I visit. So lovely :)

Moonsnail has been handcrafting natural soap and bodycare products since 1996.They make over 50 products onsite and recently started doing tours of their production area for those wanting to learn about soap making, or watch as creams, balms and bath salts are made and packaged. I just found out they did tours, I know what I will be doing next time I visit :) Moonsnail also carries artisan products handcrafted from around the Maritimes.
